I began my career as a Degree Apprentice, working for GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in the Clinical Trials Supply Chain. This was an incredible opportunity, and lead to me taking my first plunge into the data world. I then moved on to become a Data Empowerment Specialist, helping end-users extract value from their data.
In 2022, I moved to my current employer, Advancing Analytics and now help build the latest and greatest in Data Lakehouse solutions. I'm especially interested in Infrastrucure as Code (IaC) and understanding how good infrastructure design can help facilitate the data platform.

Target Shooting
I regularly take part in target shooting at the National Shooting Centre at Bisley, Surrey. I'm a member of the London Historic Shooting Club, a new club founded to make shooting as accessible as possible. I have a special interest in post-WWII firearms, specialising in the Cold War especially.
Amateur Radio
I take a keen interest in Amateur Radio, specifically in the area of Software Defined Radio. I'm currently working on a super-exciting project, using Machine Learning to detect signals on Amateur Radio bands. My callsign is M0RMX
